How to see Facebook Password Asterix Using Javascript | Mukesh Joon White Hat Blog

Its a very old trick but i tried to remind it again. In simple login processes the password is written on the password box and the text became a symbol of the star and sometimes bulatan2 shaped symbol. For example: (*******). So how we can see the password behind the asterisk symbols.

Follow the steps below:


  • Suppose we Log In Facebook, or anything that could be used to write the password
  • We type the email and password.
  • To see the copy Javascript password below.
      Code:

javascript: alert(document.getElementById('Passwd').value);

Paste the code in the address bar and then the box will appear that shows the hidden passwords in Asterisk.
